Operations is at the core of Goldman Sachs. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that enables business to flow.

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that turns ideas into business realities. We partner with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside that vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation.

The Operations division represents approximately 17% of the firm, with more than 5,000 employees across the globe. We span all product lines and markets where business is conducted, serving as internal consultants who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.

Risk Management & Execution

  • Strive for flawless execution of all the firm's transactions
  • Build controls and risk management tools to protect both the firm's and our clients' capital and reputation

Client Relationship Management
