I never envisioned myself in the world of finance. However, I always knew that I wanted to work in a company with a strong corporate culture, that had a global footprint and that welcomed and nurtured talent. I found all these and much more at Goldman Sachs. Athough I never expected to be working here, I am very glad to have the opportunity to do so.

Coming from a non-financial background, I have found that the best way to transition into a financial environment is by continuously taking every opportunity to learn more about the industry. A career in finance is challenging and demanding, so be prepared for long hours, high expectations and hard work – but know that it will all pay off in the end! You learn with every experience and grow quickly, and as long as you remain enthusiastic and proactive, a career in finance will prove to be very rewarding.
