Goldman Sachs Capital Introduction seeks to introduce our clients to investors within the hedge fund investor community who most closely match the criteria provided to us by our clients. With the most experienced and tenured global team of professionals, we have the reach, depth and connectivity necessary to provide the best Capital Introduction services.
Our Process
The Goldman Sachs Capital Introduction team works with a broad range of high quality managers, from newly launched hedge funds to large, established firms. The team uses its extensive knowledge, along with the experience gained from the depth of our client franchise, to develop a comprehensive and customized strategy for effective investor introductions.
The Capital Introduction team maintains relationships with institutional investor groups around the world, including funds of funds, family offices, consultants, private banks, insurance companies, endowments, foundations and pension plans. In 2007, we published our seventh annual Goldman Sachs Prime Brokerage Global Hedge Fund Investor Survey, which captured and analyzed detailed information on investors’ assets, strategy allocations and investment requirements. This survey is one example of the breadth and depth of our relationships with hedge fund investors. These strong relationships allow us to stay informed and updated on investor interests, strategy allocations and industry trends.
Our client relationship management database allows the team to stay globally integrated and informed. We can then effectively track, synthesize and utilize the information gained from our manager and investor relationships, to thoughtfully introduce our clients to appropriate institutional investors.
Our team takes pride in the quality of our investor introductions. Strong senior level relationships with both institutional investors and managers in the hedge fund industry allow our Capital Introduction group to provide clients with the most effective and targeted introductions possible.
